I'm only a thought that appears in your head
Moments before you attempt to forget
In favor of something that doesn't rely on your words
I clearly recall one of days from the past
A part of the story I hoped was the last
Me thinking it had been a game and forgetting remorse
You look in my eyes as I'm looking away
Speechless until you no longer can stay
I know how it matters to me, but for you it's unknown
And as I declare there's no way to return
The spark unextinguished continues to burn
My hopes and my dreams that I thought were already long gone
I was stuck in my dream world unable to see
The things I was mad not to find
I thought that the only one trying was me
And despised her for stalking my mind
I promised myself to forget my regrets
